Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your relationship with the operator of the Golden Tiger online casino as accessed through the Canadian review and access site "Golden Tiger" available at https://goldentiger-bet.ca (the "Website"). By creating an account, depositing funds or placing any wager through the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are effective from 1 January 2026 and apply to all use of the Website and related gambling services ("Services") from that date onward. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use the Services.

Definitions

  • Operator: Fresh Horizons Ltd, a limited company registered in the British Virgin Islands, which operates the Golden Tiger online casino for Canadian players (excluding Ontario) under a Client Provider Authorization issued by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission ("KGC").
  • Website: The Canadian-facing Golden Tiger review and access site at https://goldentiger-bet.ca, referred to as "Golden Tiger" in project documentation.
  • Services: All remote gambling and ancillary services made available by the Operator through the Website and any related Golden Tiger platforms, including casino games, live casino, bonuses, promotions and account facilities.
  • User or Player: Any natural person who accesses the Website and/or opens and uses a real-money account with the Operator.
  • Account: A registered real-money customer account created by a Player and maintained by the Operator for the purposes of participating in the Services.
  • Bet or Wager: Any stake of real or bonus funds placed by a Player on the outcome of a casino game, live casino round or other gambling event offered through the Services.
  • Bonus: Any monetary credit, free spin, free bet, loyalty reward, match offer or similar promotional value provided by the Operator which may be subject to wagering or other conditions.
  • Promotion: Any offer, campaign, competition, tournament, bonus package or other marketing incentive communicated by the Operator, whether via the Website, email or other channels.
  • Real-Money Balance: The portion of funds in a Player's Account derived from deposits and completed cash winnings that is not subject to any wagering requirement.
  • Bonus Balance: The portion of funds in a Player's Account that is subject to wagering or other conditions before it may be converted into withdrawable real money.
  • Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC): The regulator and licensing authority for the Operator's interactive gaming activities, established under the laws of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Canada. Golden Tiger's authorization was verified as active on the KGC registry on 22 May 2024.
  • eCOGRA: An independent testing and Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") organisation referenced by the Operator for game fairness certification and player dispute handling, accessible at https://ecogra.org/ata/policies_procedures.php.
  • Prohibited Jurisdiction: Any jurisdiction in which remote gambling with the Operator is not lawful or not authorized, including, for the purposes of these Terms, the Canadian province of Ontario.

Account Registration

Eligibility and age requirements

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the legal age for gambling under the laws of your province, territory or country of residence, whichever is higher.
  • Canadian focus and Ontario exclusion: The Services are directed primarily to players in Canada, except residents of Ontario. If you are resident in Ontario, you must not register or use the Services. Accessing the Services from Ontario via VPN or other obfuscation tools is strictly prohibited and may result in account closure and confiscation of funds.
  • Legality of participation: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful in your jurisdiction. The Operator does not accept any liability if you access the Services in breach of local laws.

Account creation and verification (KYC)

  • Registration information: When creating an Account you must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including your full name, date of birth, address, country of residence and contact details.
  • One account rule: You may hold only one Account with the Operator. Multiple accounts, even under different emails or devices, are prohibited and may lead to closure and forfeiture of bonuses and/or winnings.
  • KYC documentation: To comply with KGC requirements and anti-money laundering ("AML") standards, the Operator may request documents such as government-issued photo ID, proof of address, payment method verification and, where appropriate, proof of income or source of funds.
  • Enhanced checks: In line with evolving regulatory expectations (including lessons learned from historical compliance issues involving related entities in other jurisdictions), the Operator may apply enhanced due diligence, affordability and responsible-gambling checks to protect Players and the integrity of the Services.
  • Verification timing: The Operator may at any time suspend deposits, betting or withdrawals until your identity and any requested information have been satisfactorily verified.

User obligations and account security

  • Accuracy and updates: You must promptly update your Account details if they change. Providing false or misleading information is a breach of these Terms and may result in account closure.
  • Password security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities performed under your Account. You must not share your credentials with any third party.
  • Third-party use: Accounts are strictly personal. Allowing another person to access or use your Account, including via screen sharing or remote control software, is prohibited and may result in void bets and seizure of funds.
  • Inactivity: The Operator may classify an Account as inactive after a period of prolonged non-use, in which case applicable inactivity procedures and any fees (if introduced and notified) will be applied in accordance with KGC requirements.

Betting & Gameplay Rules

Placing bets and acceptance

  • Offer and acceptance: A Bet is deemed placed when it is submitted from your device and received by the Operator's servers. A Bet is accepted only when it is registered in the Operator's systems and appears in your betting or game history.
  • Game rules: Each game or table has specific rules, minimum and maximum stakes, payout tables and return-to-player ("RTP") information. By participating, you confirm that you have read and understand the applicable rules displayed within the game client.
  • Currency: Bets are placed in the account currency shown in your cashier. Any exchange rates applied to deposits or withdrawals are determined by the Operator and/or your payment provider.

Modification, cancellation and voiding of bets

  • Irrevocability: Once a Bet has been accepted by the Operator, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled or changed by you.
  • Operator cancellation: The Operator may cancel or void a Bet, in whole or in part, where:
    • an obvious error (including technical or human error) occurred in odds, game configuration or settlement;
    • a game malfunctioned or did not operate as designed;
    • the Bet was placed in breach of these Terms or applicable law (including from a Prohibited Jurisdiction such as Ontario); or
    • collusion, cheating, use of bots, manipulation, exploitation of bugs or other abuse is suspected.
  • Malfunctions: In the event of a game malfunction, all Bets and payouts related to the malfunctioning game round are void and stakes may be returned, subject to KGC requirements.

Fairness, conduct and live casino/chat rules

  • Fair play: The Operator aims to offer games certified and periodically audited by independent testing bodies such as eCOGRA, which assess the integrity of the random number generator ("RNG") and game fairness.
  • Prohibited behaviour: You must not engage in abusive, harassing, defamatory, racist, sexist, obscene or otherwise inappropriate behaviour in any live casino, chat function or other interactive feature. You must not threaten staff or other players.
  • Collusion and automation: Collusion with other players, use of automated software ("bots"), scripts, data scraping tools or any form of advantage play that exploits software issues is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or closure.
  • Operator records: In case of disagreement about a Bet or game outcome, the Operator's server logs and game records, as reviewed by technical experts or eCOGRA if applicable, will be final and binding, subject to your right to escalate disputes as set out in these Terms.

Bonus Terms

Activation and eligibility

  • Offer-specific conditions: Each Bonus or Promotion is governed by specific terms displayed with the offer, including eligibility criteria, minimum deposit amounts, game restrictions, maximum bonus amounts and any code that must be entered.
  • One per person/household: Unless stated otherwise, Promotions are limited to one per person, household, IP address, payment method, device and shared environment (e.g., public computer, workplace, university residence).
  • Account verification: The Operator may withhold or cancel a Bonus, or void winnings derived from a Bonus, if your identity, age, residency or payment details have not been satisfactorily verified.

Wagering requirements and timeframes

  • Turnover obligations: Bonuses and any winnings derived from them are typically subject to wagering requirements expressed as a multiple of the bonus amount and/or the deposit amount (e.g., "x times bonus" or "x times deposit + bonus") as specified in the relevant offer.
  • Contribution of games: Not all games contribute equally towards wagering requirements. Certain games or bet types (for example, low-risk roulette bets or equal covering bets) may contribute at a reduced percentage or not at all, as described in the applicable promotional terms.
  • Expiry: Bonuses and associated wagering requirements must be completed within the timeframe stated in the offer. Bonuses that are not fully wagered within the stated period may expire, and any remaining bonus funds and bonus-derived winnings may be forfeited.

Prohibited bonus practices

  • Abuse: Bonus abuse includes, but is not limited to, creating multiple accounts, deliberately placing low-risk or offsetting bets to unlock bonuses with minimal risk, or using disposable payment methods to exploit welcome offers.
  • Irregular play: The Operator may treat as "irregular play" any betting pattern that is designed primarily to meet wagering requirements with limited real chance of loss, including but not limited to:
    • placing single large bets from a Bonus followed by significantly smaller bets;
    • covering many/all outcomes of a game round; or
    • transferring funds between games in a way that undermines the spirit of the Promotion.
  • Consequences: In cases of suspected abuse or irregular play, the Operator may remove Bonuses, cancel associated winnings and, where appropriate, close the Account and report activity to relevant authorities.

Combining promotions

  • No automatic combination: Bonuses and Promotions cannot generally be combined. If more than one Promotion is available, only one may be active at a time unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Order of use: Real-money funds are usually staked before bonus funds, unless the specific promotional rules provide otherwise.

Payments & Withdrawals

Deposits

  • Payment methods: Available deposit methods may include, without limitation, major credit/debit cards, selected e-wallets, bank transfers and, where lawfully offered, certain cryptocurrencies. The methods available to you are those displayed in the cashier section of your Account.
  • Limits: Minimum and maximum deposit limits may apply per transaction or per period and will be shown in the cashier. The Operator may adjust limits based on your verification status, risk profile and responsible-gambling considerations.
  • Processing: Deposits are generally credited to your Account promptly once approved by your payment provider. The Operator is not responsible for delays caused by third-party providers or banks.

Withdrawals

  • Verification before payout: The Operator may require identity, payment method and source-of-funds verification before processing withdrawals, in line with KGC and AML requirements and evolving risk-control standards.
  • Withdrawal methods: Where possible, withdrawals will be processed via the same method used for deposit. If this is not possible, alternative methods may be offered in accordance with the Operator's policies and regulatory obligations.
  • Processing times: Internal review of withdrawal requests will generally take place within a reasonable timeframe as published on the Website. Additional time may be required for security checks or where requested information is outstanding, and for processing by banks or payment providers.
  • Fees and exchange rates: The Operator may charge reasonable processing fees or pass on costs imposed by payment providers. Any such fees, and applicable exchange rates, will be disclosed where practicable before you confirm the transaction.

Refunds, chargebacks and crypto-specific risks

  • Refunds of deposits and bets: Deposits are generally non-refundable once used for betting. The Operator may, at its discretion, refund unused deposits. Stakes on completed Bets will only be refunded where a Bet is voided due to error, malfunction or as otherwise provided in these Terms.
  • Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback or dispute a payment, the Operator may suspend your Account, recover any winnings paid out from such transactions, and disclose relevant information to payment providers, regulators and law enforcement as permitted by law.
  • Cryptocurrency volatility: Where cryptocurrencies are accepted, any conversion between crypto and fiat currencies is subject to exchange-rate fluctuations. The Operator is not responsible for changes in value that occur before, during or after the conversion process.

Ontario and Prohibited Jurisdictions

  • Ontario exclusion: If the Operator identifies that you are located in Ontario or another Prohibited Jurisdiction, it may cancel Bets, void winnings and refund remaining real-money balances (less any fees or losses) where required or permitted by applicable law and KGC policies.
  • VPN use: Use of VPNs or similar tools to conceal your true location or to appear to be in a permitted jurisdiction (including to bypass Ontario restrictions) is a serious breach of these Terms and may lead to forfeiture of funds.

Limitation of Liability

Operator responsibilities

  • Fair and honest services: The Operator will provide the Services with reasonable skill and care, and seeks to ensure that games are operated fairly in accordance with their rules and, where applicable, certification by independent testing bodies such as eCOGRA.
  • Accuracy of information: While the Operator endeavours to ensure that information on the Website is accurate and up to date, typographical errors and omissions may occur. The Operator reserves the right to correct any such errors and to void Bets placed in reliance on incorrect information.

Exclusions of liability

  • Technical issues: The Operator is not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from:
    • failures of telecommunications or internet connectivity;
    • hardware or software malfunctions on your device;
    • interruptions, delays or data loss caused by third-party providers; or
    • viruses or malicious code contracted from external sites, links or downloads outside the Operator's control.
  • Indirect loss: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, loss of profits, business, goodwill, data or other intangible losses.

Liability cap

  • Maximum compensation: Subject to any non-excludable statutory rights under Canadian law, the Operator's total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with any single Bet, game round or series of related events will not exceed the amount of the Bet or stake placed by you on the relevant Bet or game round.
  • Mandatory rights: Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Intellectual Property Rights

Ownership

  • Content and software: All intellectual property rights in and to the Website and Services, including but not limited to software, source code, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, interfaces, layouts, audio and video material, are owned by or licensed to the Operator and/or its licensors.
  • Golden Tiger branding: The "Golden Tiger" name, logos and related marks used in connection with goldentiger-bet.ca and the main site https://goldentigercasino.com are protected trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.

Permitted and prohibited uses

  • Limited licence: The Operator grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website and Services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only, in accordance with these Terms.
  • Restrictions: You must not:
    • copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, publish or create derivative works from any part of the Website or Services;
    • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software;
    • use any automated system, robot, spider or scraper to access or interact with the Website; or
    • remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.

Privacy & Data Protection

  • Privacy policy: The collection, use, storage, disclosure and protection of your personal data are governed by the Operator's privacy policy, as amended from time to time and made available via the Website and, where applicable, the main Golden Tiger site.
  • Compliance: Your data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy and applicable data protection laws, which may include the laws of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, the British Virgin Islands and, where applicable, Canadian federal and provincial privacy legislation.
  • Cross-border transfers: Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside your province, territory or country of residence for the purposes of providing the Services, meeting regulatory obligations (including KGC and AML requirements) and handling disputes, including via eCOGRA.

Changes to Terms

  • Right to amend: The Operator may amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, regulatory requirements, industry standards, technical developments or the Operator's business practices.
  • Notification: Material changes will, where practicable, be communicated via:
    • a notice or banner on the Website and/or within your Account; and/or
    • email to the address registered on your Account.
  • Effective date of changes: Changes will take effect on the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Services after that date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Right to discontinue use: If you do not agree to any change to the Terms, you must stop using the Services and may request closure of your Account and withdrawal of any remaining real-money balance, subject to verification and any legal or regulatory restrictions.

Termination & Suspension

Operator's rights

  • Suspension/closure: The Operator may suspend or close your Account, restrict access to the Services or withhold funds where:
    • you breach these Terms or any game- or promotion-specific rules;
    • there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or other criminal activity;
    • you are located in or provide an address in a Prohibited Jurisdiction (including Ontario);
    • you initiate chargebacks or fail to honour payments; or
    • you engage in abusive behaviour towards staff or other players.
  • Regulatory requirements: The Operator may also suspend or close Accounts where required by the KGC, other competent authorities or applicable law.

Player's rights

  • Voluntary closure: You may request closure of your Account at any time through the Website's account tools or by contacting customer support, subject to completion of any outstanding obligations (including pending Bets and verification requests).
  • Self-exclusion: Where available, you may use self-exclusion or other responsible-gambling tools offered through the Website or mandated by regulators. During self-exclusion, you must not attempt to open new accounts with the Operator.

Consequences of termination

  • Funds on closure: On closure of your Account (other than for serious breach or unlawful conduct), the Operator will pay out any remaining real-money balance, subject to:
    • deduction of any applicable fees or chargeback amounts; and
    • completion of any outstanding verification or regulatory checks.
  • Bonuses on closure: All unused Bonuses and any bonus-derived funds that have not yet met wagering or other requirements will be cancelled on closure.
  • Forfeiture: In cases involving fraud, use from Prohibited Jurisdictions, serious breach of these Terms or legal violations, some or all funds may be frozen, forfeited or confiscated, and relevant authorities may be notified as required or permitted by law.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

Applicable law

  • Primary governing law: These Terms, their subject matter and formation, and your relationship with the Operator in relation to the Services, are governed by the laws of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Canada, to the extent not overridden by mandatory laws of your province, territory or country of residence.
  • Corporate matters: Certain corporate and contractual matters related to the Operator as a company may also be interpreted under the laws of the British Virgin Islands, where the Operator is incorporated.

Dispute resolution

  • Internal complaints: If you have a complaint, you should first contact the Operator's customer support with full details of the issue. The Operator will use reasonable efforts to investigate and respond within a fair timeframe.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): If your complaint cannot be resolved internally, you may refer it to eCOGRA using the online dispute form at https://ecogra.org/ata/policies_procedures.php, or to such other ADR provider as may be designated by the Operator from time to time.
  • Regulator complaints: You may also submit a complaint to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission using the procedures and forms published at https://gamingcommission.ca/interactive-gaming/player-complaints/.
  • Court proceedings: Subject to any applicable ADR or arbitration requirements, you and the Operator agree that disputes may be brought before the competent courts of the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawake, Canada. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your province or territory of residence may grant you additional rights regarding jurisdiction.
